Libby & Richard arrived for the long weekend with their boat and we headed to watch the Marley Point Yacht Race. Also down for the weekend with their boat was Michael & Christine Oakley. I worked with Michael at NEC many, many moons ago and it was lovely to catch up with him and Chris again. We headed across Lake Victoria and moored at the end of the McLennan Straits right where it enters Lake Wellington. Really had the "Box Seat" for the race. We had the best seats and a wonderful night.
Today we purchased our boat "Chardonnay" She is a 1985 30' Riviera Sedan, a real Classic Lakes Cruiser. She is absolutely beautiful and I can see we will have lots & lots of fun in the coming months/years on her.
